Northwest Philadelphia IHN 20th Anniversary

NPIHN is celebrating 20 years of serving families in need throughout the Northwest Philadelphia area and we want YOU to join in on the fun!

New Northeast Philadelphia Network Launch

During a time of financial hardships, NPIHN is fortunate to be able to keep going and growing. By 2013, we will double the number of families we are serving with the launch of our Northeast Philadelphia network! We will replicate our IHN and spread our story to a new community of concerned citizens and clergy. If you would like to contribute to our new network, we welcome you to visit our How to Help page or contact our Career and Volunteer Developer, Geoff Woodland at 215-247-HOME (4663) x 137.

 Empty Bowl Dinners

Save the date for this year's Empty Bowl Dinners at Arcadia University on Monday, November 12 and at Chestnut Hill College on Wednesday, November 14. Come and sample delicious soups, stews and desserts from local restaurants all over the Philadelphia area. Enjoy prize raffles and live jazz music. Leave with a handcrafted bowl from area artists, schools and volunteer groups.

Empty Bowl Dinner 20th Anniversary Cookbook

To celebrate 20 years of NPIHN's work in Northwest Philadelphia, we are collecting recipes for a commemorative cookbook. The cookbook will include recipes for appetizers, soups, stews, one-pot dishes and desserts. If you would like to contribute a recipe, please visit the 20th Anniversay Empty Bowl Dinner Cookbook page on our website. Be sure to include all ingredients and instructions!

20 Year Retrospective Report

Honoring the work of our staff and volunteers over the past 20 years, NPIHN is compiling a retrospective report to share with friends and with funders. The report will include photos of our families and volunteers as well as a detailed account of NPIHN's first few years of operation.
