Thank you!

Thanks so much for attending the “Just Show Up-Please!”  fundraising event on Thursday January 26th with Frank McKinney  and his “Survival to Thrival” Caring House Foundation bus tour to help United States non profits  working on hunger and homelessness issues.

Because of you, Northwest Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network(NPIHN)  had a great turn-out and made our goal of raising $10,000 for our work!
We know that you had no idea what you were getting yourself into by attending, and our staff and board join me in appreciating your trust and gift of time and spirit for our collective work of helping neighbors experiencing homelessness.  Frank said that we were the most diverse audience he has ever connected with, and he was really impressed with our community.
Thanks to our local businesses, Elfant Wissahickon Realtors and Earth Bread and Brewery for lending their support to this work.  And….thank you for all you do!
With every good wish!
Rachel

PS: In case you couldn't make it to the "Survival To Thrival" event, Fank McKinney did a short video wrapping up his stop in Philadelphia at NPIHN. Enjoy!

The Joy of Sox at NPIHN

We at NPIHN are the lucky recipients of 900 (!!!) pairs of socks. Tom, the Chief Sock Person at The Joy of Sox, stopped by our office today and delivered several boxes full of socks. On behalf of our families we would like to thank The Joy of Sox for supporting us so faithfully. It truly takes a village and we are grateful to be living in the same village as you!
